About Me
“We are all unique as individuals, but the addiction mechanism is identical for everyone” – Ayelet Ben Ari
About Ayelet
My name is Ayelet Ben Ari. I’m a mother of two and the founder and CEO of the “Just Quit” method, dedicated to helping people break free from bad habits and addictions.
For the past 18 years, I have dedicated my career to help individuals who struggle with addictions.
After working with thousands of clients, I began to notice something important.
Most people were not lacking willpower or motivation. In fact, many had already tried countless programs and methods. What they were missing was a clear understanding of the mechanism that used cravings and urges to trap them.
Once I realized that mechanism…
Everything changed!
I discovered that the mechanism of cravings itself is mental, and that it is consistent for every person and each addiction.
By addressing the source of the urge itself, rather than fighting behavior on the surface, clients were able to experience something they never felt before: life without the cravings and the constant battle against them.
Not through force or restriction, but through understanding.
That AHA moment
The results were powerful. People who believed they had “tried everything” were finally able to quiet the constant mental noise and move toward the life they wanted.
Over time, I trained more than 200 therapists in the method I have developed, “Just Quit” and they have since applied it successfully with their own clients.
Today, my mission is to make this knowledge accessible to anyone who needs it. Through the
“Just Quit” programs, people can complete the process online, privately, from the comfort of their home, in a way that is both simple and affordable.
Because freeing yourself from the struggle is your birthright and your happiness is my mission.
The Moment Everything Changed
The Moment I Discovered the Mechanism Behind Cravings
My journey started in 2006, when I was helping people quit smoking.
Many of my clients were Orthodox Jews. During Shabbat, they didn’t smoke, because lighting a cigarette is prohibited according to Jewish law. But what surprised me wasn’t their behavior. It was something far more interesting.
They didn’t want to smoke on Shabbat.
The craving simply wasn’t there.
That observation changed everything for me.
I became deeply curious. So I began studying what was happening in the brain during those moments when cravings were naturally suppressed. And once I understood the pattern, I realized something even more significant:
That is a mental mechanism that applies to all habits and addictions: Smoking. Alcohol. Food. Gambling. Porn. Narcotics. And even nail biting and hair pulling (Trichotillomania).
These urges, that control the lives of those who suffer from addictions, follow the same internal rules.
That realization was my AHA moment and turning point.
I discovered that the brain already knows how to switch cravings off, under certain conditions, and once I understood how it’s done, I was able to apply it to all bad habits and addictions in general.
At first, I questioned it myself. Could this realization be the missing piece? Can it actually be so easy to step out of addictions???
After applying this new knowledge and the “Just Quit” method I developed around it, on thousands of clients, I can tell you without a doubt:
Yes, it is that simple!
And yes, this knowledge is completely new, a groundbreaking approach to dealing with addictions.
People who felt trapped for years, who tried every possible method to treat their addiction, were finally able to experience freedom, peace of mind, growth, and success. Not through discipline. Not through restriction. But through understanding.
And once you understand it, change becomes much easier than you ever imagined.
Testimonials from patients and graduates of the training program
“I always thought that there was nothing that brings me more joy as a professional woman than receiving emotional thank-you letters from my patients. I was wrong! The excitement I feel when graduates of the training program show me the thank-you letters they received from their patients is ten times greater. Join me in getting excited about the methods of recovery and the graduates of the training program.”
